Who doesn’t love wine
Payment, Deposit and Refunds:
A deposit of £50 is required to secure a booking for a private pub crawl.
If the deposit has not been paid the booking is not confirmed and therefore will be cancelled.
Final payment is due in cash on the day of the event or 3 days prior via bank transfer if an invoice has been requested.
The deposit of £50 will be refunded 3-5 working days after the event unless one of the below circumstances has occurred:
Deposit non-refundable in the case of:
- No-show without 24 hours prior notice
- Damage to any equipment/ furniture etc., in any of the bars visited
If for some reason you are unsatisfied with your guide or the layout of the crawl a full refund may be given if the crawl is cancelled in the 1st or 2nd bar. After this the request must be submitted in writing to email@example.com and is subject to management’s discretion.
Drinking responsibly and appropriate behaviour:
Edinburgh Pub Crawl encourages responsible drinking and follows the laws set out by the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005. We therefore reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone who appears to be in violation of the Act or is deemed too intoxicated or under the influence of drugs before and throughout the crawl.
We also reserve the right to finish the crawl early for any drunk or disorderly behaviour, including, but not limited to, destruction of properly, inappropriate language or comments and behaviour that makes your guide feel threatened.
In the case of your guide cancelling the crawl for any of the above, no refund will be given.
We therefore ask that the organiser passes this information on to all participants.
Three strikes rule:
At Edinburgh Pub Crawl we understand that these crawls are organise to celebrate a special occasion and we like to ensure that all participants enjoy the night in a fun and safe environment
Thereby we operate a 3 strikes rule, if a participant breaks any of the rules set out below or at the beginning of the night or any of the laws/ regulation set out by the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005, they will be given two warnings and then asked to leave the group.
If the group wishes to continue and the individual refuses to leave we reserve the right to ask all bars on the route to refuse service to the individual and in extreme or violent situation the police will be called.
At Edinburgh Pub Crawl we do our best to choose bars that best suit the information provided at the time of booking.
If the group is unhappy with a bar on the route they must notify their guide within 15 minutes of being at the venue if they wish for a replacement bar to be found. Otherwise the group may leave this bar and move on to the next but a replacement bar will not be found and it will be counted in the 5 or 7 bars depending on the chosen package.
